Turn Any PDF Into an Installable, Offline-Ready App
I recently launched InstallablePDF, a tool that turns PDFs into installable, offline-ready apps.
The idea came from a simple frustration: important PDFs are often hardest to find when you need them most. Manuals, study guides, training materials, and reference documents end up buried in downloads folders, email attachments, or cloud storage.
Instead of treating PDFs as files, I wanted to make them behave more like apps—something you can install to your device's home screen and open with a single tap, even offline.
What surprised me during development was how useful it became for personal use. Large manuals, government guides, and study materials are much easier to access when they feel like a dedicated app instead of just another PDF.
I'd be interested in hearing how others are handling document distribution, offline access, or knowledge management for their users.
