We wanted to share some exciting news with you all - our recent 301 redirects of instantlogodesign.com to our new domain, logomakerr.ai, have been a huge success! In just three weeks, we regained 90% of our Ahrefs DR and even higher traffic than before. ✌️
One of the main reasons for the domain change was to improve our SEO strategy. With the new domain, we have a higher exact match to high search volume keywords, and we're already seeing a good trend in our keyword ranking on Google.

Hey,
Could you detail how your affiliate system works (technically)? I am also looking to add one to my product, but most systems require you to add a 3rd party script. Did you build it in-house?

Hi. We haven't built that yet, but this is in our pipeline. Where do you plan to put it on? On Uxwizz website?

Yes, I was using Gumroad affiliate system before, then moved to Paddle and they no longer have their own affiliate system and recommend using a 3rd party. From what I've searched, most 3rd party affiliate systems require you to include a remote-hosted JS snippet on your website, which I don't want to do.

With the limited resources, we just created an intro video to Instant Logo by Clipchamp. Although the AI voice-over doesn't match her mouth in the video, we are still posting it on Youtube and social media pages to guide our users on the new editing features. We will create a better one on the following video with Synthesia.io.

I set a $1500/mth goal on the first month I ran the website, we made only $1269, although we didn't hit that, but we had only $616 in Nov. In other words, I've made Dec 100% better compared to Nov - this is so motivating! It's not an explosion, but it's still good growth to keep the team morale high.
The product launch on Product Hunt drove us 400 traffic (6 orders) on the launch day and 160 (2 orders) on the next day. On the launch day itself, we got 6 orders, and 2 on the second day.
For the first month of 2022, let's make it $2500/mth!

The website domain ownership is transferred to my name. I'm so excited to own a website that can start earning. Although the revenue is pretty low for now (about $400 in Nov), but every dollar that we make is kinda net profit to me. The first target is to achieve $1500 by February 2022!
After months of discussion with my partner of the AV integration business, either to set up a tech team by ourselves to develop our product; we decided to buy a logo maker website from my friend He Ping instead. The biggest motivation is to have a ready website and not risk recruitment and product development cause we both don't code. Although the sum that we pay for it could be higher, we won't lose focus on the AV integration business (which is still our bread for now), and we could have a website that can start earning right away.

How did you do it? just 301 redirects from the old domain? any other tips ?
I managed the marketing part only. What I did was update our social media profiles and website accounts, such as PH with the new handles, sent emails to websites with our backlinks to request URL updates, and updated our own blog page (more than 150 blogs at the time).
That's a nice strategy!
