Continuing my story of first employee. After lots of back and forth emails, I'm currently working with 2 candidates and hopefully we will have a solid team. Things I've learned during the past month.
Generic SEO content does not work
I get lots of applications for my blog writer position. But 99% of them will only write generic content that makes little or no sense. Doesn't matter how cheap their service is, such tactics no longer for modern day SEO.
Find someone who can produce meaningful content is hard
As the founder and maker of the product, I have lots of unique content ideas but finding someone to execute is hard. I think this is a challenge faced by most founders trying to grow their business. There is no easy solution to this but to work hard and keep trying.
