Smart visuals about introverts
Huh, sooner or later comes this moment when you have to buy a domain:) I did it. Bought a domain today. Build a simple landing page with no-code, added a form (hope to capture emails), created a FB account.
Rn Nigel has
— 60 followers on Twitter,
— 16 on Instagram,
— 40 on Facebook.
No ads, no promotions. I just add visuals daily
Not bad for a 1-month-old cat:) When I first started on social media it took me weeks to get to the first 100 followers.
Next stop — Reddit. That's why I needed a website with a form to capture emails. It seems like the most frictionless way to capture traffic from Reddit.
P.S. A, right! I finally hired a freelancer to create vector Nigel. Now I can change the color, place them into various settings and experiment with plots. I also want to test character-less visuals vs visuals with an actual cat
I was having a conversation with one of the founders on Twitter and we discussed how tough it is to be an introvert and still work on building an audience. It resonated a lot with me, as I've always been shy and on the introvertish side. Could not build meaningful connections. But Twitter changed things. I decided I wanted to offer a gift to the Twitter community and created this Nigel character

I posted comics about Nigel on Twitter and IG and they've got decent organic engagement. Character is gaining followers who are not my followers. meaning the ideas resonate.
I haven't figured out the style yet. Mostly experimenting on this stage and see what will take off better.

About
I'm a deep-to-the-bones introvert, and I've been struggling with building human connections for all my life. It all changed when I discovered Twitter. Nigel — is my gift to the people of Twitter whom I resonate with

Love the landing page, especially the illustrations.
