Inventory Management
Still Managing Inventory in Excel? Track stock, billing
Hey everyone 👋
I’m Sanket from India. I’ve been working as a full-stack developer for a while, and recently I started building my own SaaS — Inventra.
The idea came from something pretty simple.
I kept seeing small businesses around me managing inventory in Excel or even on paper. And every time, the same issues:
stock doesn’t match
items go out of stock without anyone noticing
too much time wasted checking things manually
It just felt messy and avoidable.
So I started building Inventra to fix that — nothing fancy, just something that actually helps businesses know:
what they have, where it is, and what’s running out.
Right now, it can:
track inventory in real-time
manage products and stock
give basic reports
I’m slowly improving it and recently started working more seriously on the frontend (moving to a better UI).
To be honest, the hardest part hasn’t been building the product — it’s everything else:
getting users
figuring out pricing
positioning it properly
I’m still very early, just trying to learn and improve step by step.
If anyone here has built or is building in B2B SaaS, I’d really appreciate your thoughts:
How did you get your first paying customers?
What made users actually trust your product?
Here’s the project if you want to check it out:

Would love honest feedback 🙏
