InvoiceFast
Professional invoices for South African freelancers
I built InvoiceFast because I was tired of Word/Excel for client invoices.
It’s a web app for freelancers and small teams:
• Live invoice builder + PDF export
• ZAR by default, VAT-inclusive line items, ex-VAT + 15% breakdown on the PDF
• Bank details & VAT reg on your profile → on every PDF
• 14-day full Pro trial when you sign up (no card)
• Free after trial: 3 PDFs/month (watermarked), 3 saved invoices
• Pro: R79/month incl. VAT — logo, email to client, 50 saved invoices, CSV export
Built under AuraStudioZa (South Africa). Not accounting/tax advice — just getting invoices out the door.
Try it: https://app.aurastudioza.com/sign-up
Honest feedback welcome — especially from anyone who invoices clients regularly. What would make you switch from your current setup?
Live at https://aurastudioza.com/invoicefast
14-day Pro trial (no card), then free tier or R79/mo incl. VAT for Pro. ZAR + VAT-inclusive lines, bank details on PDF.
Bootstrapped solo project. Pre-revenue / early users — would love honest feedback from anyone who invoices clients.

About
I kept losing time in Word and Excel every time I needed a client invoice. Existing tools were either heavy accounting suites, priced in USD, or not set up for how South African freelancers actually quote (ZAR, VAT-incl)

The part I'd probably spend more time on isn't what would make someone switch.
It's what conclusion deserves confidence if they don't.
Early feedback can be tricky because the same response can support several very different interpretations.
That's what makes the next decision difficult.
Not because the signal is bad, but because it's easy to optimize around the wrong explanation before enough evidence exists to separate them.
