Hey Indie Hackers!

I'm Jacob, and after 8 years building institutional-grade MPC crypto security, and working for the largest players in the industry like Binance, Bitfinex, Tether, and Binance; I'll finally be launching something that im passionate about and is worth of indie hackers. The Problem

Web3 remains incredibly difficult to navigate safely. Even experienced users accidentally sign malicious transactions, and the technical barriers keep mainstream adoption at bay. I've personally helped recover from attacks and implemented security for major crypto institutions, but regular users have been left vulnerable.

The Solution

IO AI Wallet combines two powerful technologies:

• Multi-Party Computation (MPC) - The same institutional security we built for major exchanges

• AI Agents - To abstract away blockchain complexity and scan for threats

Here's how it works:
Talk to your AI agent like you would ChatGPT to handle swaps, bridges, staking, etc The Guardian agent automatically scans transactions for malicious intent. You control the security model through key-sharing (you+AI approval, AI advisory only, or autonomous operation)

The Journey
Our team has spent years turning academic MPC cryptography papers into production systems. We've secured billions in digital assets. This indie project applies that institutional knowledge to solve retail problems. Just a quick disclaimer, we already have a live version of our MPC security for enterprise usage (iofinnet.com), and although that wasnt listed here originally, it certainly was (and continues to be) an indie hacker style founded startup.

Metrics & Goals
We're pre-launch with a waitlist of users from mine and iofinnets network. Our North Star metric is active wallets, with a stretch goal of 1000 active users by EOY.

What's Next
We're building a marketplace for specialized agents (tax, yield, compliance) and opening our platform to developers who want to create secure AI agents for crypto. We plan to launch within 4-6 months, but can push that if the interest grows.
