Ishkzen
A conversation-first space for intentional connection.
After months of development, I finally launched the first version of Ishkzen.
The inspiration came from a simple observation:
Students today have more ways to communicate than any previous generation, yet many still struggle to build meaningful friendships and relationships.
Instead of building another swipe-based platform, I wanted to experiment with a different approach:
Clear intentions
Real conversations
Meaningful discovery
Community-first connections
The product is still early, and I'm sure there are things that can be improved.
I'd love feedback on:
The onboarding experience
The concept itself
Features you'd expect from a platform like this

Happy to answer questions and share the technical journey behind building it.
Over the last year, I kept noticing the same pattern among students:
Thousands of followers
Multiple social apps
Endless swiping
Yet very few meaningful connections
Most platforms optimize for attention.
Dating apps often optimize for matches.
But neither seems optimized for helping people find others with similar intentions.
Some people want friendship.
Some want relationships.
Some want networking.
Some simply want genuine conversations.
Yet everyone gets thrown into the same system.
So I started building Ishkzen.
The idea is simple:
What if people could connect based on intentions, compatibility, and meaningful conversations instead of endless swiping?
I've just launched the first version and I'm looking for honest feedback from founders, builders, and early adopters.
What do you think is the biggest thing missing from how people connect online today?
