Congrats on getting from zero to a working product.
One thought on positioning: people probably aren't buying a QR code API—they're buying a reliable way to add QR generation into something they're already building. That distinction can make a big difference in how the product is discovered and evaluated.

Having read it properly, what stands out to me isn't standards or compliance themselves. It's that you're trying to reduce the credibility gap between smaller companies and much larger ones.
That feels like a much stronger problem to own than simply helping people manage compliance.
