ISO27DIY

A method for implementing ISO 27001 in your own organization

March 18, 2022 Launched my first #no-code project!

The ISO 27002 Explorer for Information Security professionals.

While working on my main project, a DIY ISO 27001 implementation toolkit for small companies, I frequently need to search through the texts of the ISO 27001 / ISO 27002 standards.

So I used Airtable to create a database with all the articles and controls. I thought that this might be interesting for other people working in #infosec as well, and added a front end with Softr.io.

I hope this attracts some attention and gets me some engagement to promote @ISO27DIY.

Let me know what you think!

October 29, 2021 Today I came out as an indie hacker

Finally overcame my fear of failure and started with #buildinpublic.

It took me a burnout and a psycho boss to finally do it.

These are my targets:

  1. Launch a series of YouTube videos, explaining how you can implement ISO 27001, by January 2022.
  2. Launch an accompanying membership portal, ISO27DIY.com offering support and additional resources (tooling, templates, example documents, etc.), also by January 2022. This will generate the first revenue.
  3. Build a place to create and collect all the necessary documentation to get your ISO 27001 certification: AuditGlue.com. I will create mock-ups that I will use in the videos mentioned above. With the traction from (1) and (2) I will secure funding to build AuditGlue.com.
