iWorkUntil
Visual timer for visual thinkers - iOS & Android
My three-year-old kept asking "when do you finish, dad?" every five minutes. I'd say "in 45 minutes" and watch the words bounce off. Numbers on a clock are abstract — for kids they're just shapes. Turns out for a lot of adults too.
So I built iWorkUntil. Every minute is a colored block in a grid. The grid fills as time passes. One glance and you know where you stand. Easy to see how much is left without understanding numbers.
That was the whole brief. Solve one tiny domestic friction point.
Now it ships in 14 languages, has zero accounts, zero cloud, zero ads, zero AI nag. Just time, made visible. Local storage only. No subscription.
iOS + Android, free. Two things I'd love feedback on:
1. **What's your weirdest use case for a timer?** I genuinely keep discovering new ones from users
2. **What's the smallest niche product you've shipped that ended up broader than you expected?** Curious if this is a pattern.

About
My toddler kept asking me "when do you finish, dad?" — and "in 45 minutes" means nothing to a three-year-old. So I built a timer where every minute is a colored block in a grid. Turns out the same thing helps ADHD
