I came up with the idea for this in January, spent 6 months learning to code and then started working on it in June. Luckily I also enrolled in Startup School at the same time, so I didn't fall in love with my MVP. That being said, there's a lot of M in my MVP.

This processes has taught me that promoting my own products requires an entirely different mindset than selling for companies or promoting other people's products. Wasn't really expecting that. And the fact that I'm new on this coding journey amplifies that hesitation to put myself out there.

That's why I decided to start building this in public and documenting my journey.
