June 14, 2022 MVP is there

I'm not comfortable calling it "MVP", it's rather a v0.1, but there's something to show at last to the 3 people who were brave enough to install some stranger's snippet on their websites.

Here it is: v0.1 ready! https://jelytics.com/app/jelytics.com

May 28, 2022 The first code snippet installed

I've just installed the first analytics snippet on somebody else's (not my Mom's) landing page, and it's gathering stats already.

Gonna talk with the man on Tuesday and work on the MVP according to his needs.

I still can't say I have validated the idea -- my waitlist is not growing... Can you tell me what should I change?

Wow congrats on your first customer! The feeling must be surreal! I just posted about my projects landing page on LinkedIn and I don't have any sign ups yet! Just waiting for the first one to come in.

    Congratulations though !

Thanks! I got the man on a tiny community, Micro SaaS ideas, and I just engaged with his introduction post and then asked him if he wanted to install my snippet. See, I had to be a bit pushy here. Perhaps your project is not for LinkedIn users, head hunters and CEOs don't care about these things, you might need to find a more targeted community.

Where would you recommend I share? Someone told me Reddit might be a good place.

Yeah, but it's not like you register, publish your link, and they come. You have to spend time on it, get noticed, get upvoted, and drop your link in the comments now and then. You can use SparkToro or GummySearch to find relevant communities. You can just ask for feedback on your landing page, even in DMs (but help this person first).

May 21, 2022 First test user

After engaging in a few conversations on the new Micro SaaS community by @upenv, I spotted a user who was going to create his landing page and offered him my tool. Now I have a few days to create a working prototype so that he can install it on his page.

Thankyou for the mention. Engaging in communities is an unfair advantage.
That's the power of communities. Happy that Micro SaaS HQ is serving its purpose.

Now, no more excuses to building prototype :)

Also, this is what most people should do. Find users before even actually building a product.

About

Most analytics tools are too complex and targeted for complex websites and big marketing teams. I want to create a tool for landing pages that has all relevant numbers before your eyes.
