July 16, 2021 Jigsaw Puzzles for iOS Released

It's been a long time coming. Even though I am sometimes embarrassed to admit it, I started this project about 6 years ago. Even though I saw its completion and my self employment as an inevitability, I am still astonished that I had the drive and determination to see it through. With the pressures of a full time job, planning a wedding and moving twice, I worked nights and weekends whenever I could. There were times when I couldn't work on it for a span of a few months. An hour here, an evening there; it compounds over time. Before I knew it, I had created a high quality game, with 12,000+ lines of original code, did the design myself, and produced more than 150 original assets. It was released in Apple's App Store, on July 16, 2021.

The project seems amazing. Let me congratulate you on your work. Not everyone has the time and the ability to do such enormous things, such interesting games like you did, and it is worth applause. I hope your app or platform where you will put the final result works out well, and you will get some profit out of it. Even though I prefer physically solving some jigsaw puzzles australia, there must be people who can't buy them, or maybe enough space or even time, but they want to train their brains and solve some puzzles, and your new release would be an amazing choice for them! I wish you good luck! For more puzzles you can link https://journeyofsomething.com/products/1000-piece-puzzle-australia-edition ))

June 20, 2015 The first lines of code written

With a fire in my belly to escape life as a software engineer in corporate America, I wrote the first lines of code for what would become Jigsaw Puzzles for iOS. Having been inspired by people in my professional sphere, who went on to form successful companies, I knew that it was not just possible, but it has been done by other people just like me. The power of this cannot be understated - it gave me the power to cast aside doubt. My drive came from the conviction that escaping the corporate track was the only true option. So, I took the next step, and then the next.

About

Jigsaw Puzzles was both a side project and a creative outlet, that I enjoyed for the technical challenge, but beneath the surface it was a dead serious attempt to escape life as a software engineer in corporate America.
