Job Builder

As a fan of 37 Signal or better known nowadays as Basecamp, I decided to scratch my own itch. As Product Manager, I'm always asked to write up a job post for the developers, analysts, researchers, etc that I want to hire. The process was time-consuming for me and there was a lot of back & forth with HR on this.

The process of writing a job description got me thinking, can this task be done in a better way? If so how? So learning from my own experience and research, I thought this would be a perfect idea to use ChatGPT to at least get a first draft.

My cofounder coded the idea in one week and we gave it to hiring managers in our network to test and enable us to fine-tune.

We've learned a lot in the process of using ChatGPT API and fine-tuning our prompts which I'll be sharing soon.
