Job board with Slack built in
I applied to over 100 jobs and got ghosted by every ATS.
So I built Job Seeker Go Gold. A job board where you talk to recruiters directly in Slack. Human to human. No AI filter.
Stack is super simple right now.
Frontend is React as a single file artifact plus Tailwind CSS 3.4.18
Hosting is Vercel
Chat layer is Slack invite link
What I cut.
I started with Supabase for jobs and auth but it tried to charge me before I had users. So I stripped it out to stay at zero cost. That is why the build is lean right now. Just a single index.html file.

I am solo bootstrapped zero MRR no employees just building in public from Binghamton NY.
Question for you. Would you use a job board if you could DM the hiring manager in Slack right away or is that too chaotic.

The direct recruiter conversation is the interesting part. The real challenge seems to be keeping that experience useful as the number of jobs and candidates grows without turning Slack into another noisy inbox.

You are right Slack gets noisy fast if you let it
What I did
1 Real people only rule No fake AI jobs no bot spam No ghost jobs That cuts 90 percent of noise day one
2 Community board is curated I approve posts No auto posting No spam
3 Slack is opt in by role Jobseeker channel Recruiter channel Intros channel So you only see what you need
Long term I am building a filter so recruiters only see profiles that match their stack and jobseekers only see jobs they can actually do No spray and pray
It is small right now on purpose I would rather have 50 real conversations than 5000 ghosted applications
