Applying To Jobs SUCKS. Let Us Do It For You
I was having a hard time with the backend process of helping over 180 new signups over night. A bit overwhelming but I sat down with some green tea and worked about 11 hours straight reading resumes, making edits and finding new jobs for these 180 new friends. I give them a few job suggestions at first and its up to them to approve or reject my suggestions. Then I edit their resume and apply to the jobs for them. I got through about 50 applicants and realized I had to improve my process. After a few days thinking about it I created a walk though video of the backend admin process and found a virtual assistant that could help me.
So I posted this on reddit...
If you're not satisfied with your current job. You want more money, better working conditions, less of a commute or whatever. We Get It!! That's why we built a process to help myself and friends fight back against all the bots and AI powered applicant tracking software.
Here's some of the ways that have made a great improvement on actually hearing from a recruiter. Try these next time you're emailing into a job...

and currently I got 112 people who were interested and signed up. WOOHOO

I've gone over a few speed bumps and turns in the road developing this SaaS idea of mine. JobMate will be built but I'm not sure how long this is going to take. I'm looking for some free beta testers so I'm heading to Reddit to see if I could help people.

I started to look for a platform that could help me build this new idea. I asked a few developers I knew but they weren't much help. They were used to rolling their own. So I took to twitter and sent out this tweet https://twitter.com/kensavage/status/1164977871674380289?s=20
That's where I started to work with @boundlesslabs
They were doing a live site build just as I sent this tweet out and I watched for about an hour amazed. So I signed up for their free account and got started.

After talking with a few a few friends about their job search experiences, we all agreed that everything is AI, Applicant Tracking Software and bots. There's no more conversations and personalities. I'm judged by the ability of a service to scan my resume and report keyword probabilities to a recruiter. I'm looking to even the odds of with these bots and provide a server to people to save them hours per week filling out endless online job applications. That's where we came up with the name "Get Me A Damn Job" but shortened it to JobMate ;)

I got super frustrated of the impersonalization of HR, hiring and the job application process nowadays. Everything is bots and scanned resumes and there's VERY little personality from companies. I want to change that.
