We have heard concerns over a too "holistic" approach to hiring. It is great that companies understand the candidate more, but we should also check their technical side. We have created a simple portal website the allow for recruiters to validate a candidates skills. ---One thought would be a hackathon based topic, meaning, in an allotted time, we give them a problem, they would have to develop a solution.

March 2022 MVP

We now have an application called Joobie that recommends candidates and company recruiters that match each other's work style. By displaying interests, hobbies, bio, and thought-provoking questions, we can understand a person as if we just had a conversation over cup of coffee.

February 7, 2022 Founded Idea

While applying for software engineering jobs, I realized that most companies asked for technical interviews that did not involve anything that I would do on the job. Why was this the baseline for a good candidate? I believe the best programmer is someone who loves their job and is excited to participate in work. One's personality is more important than taking a data structures and algorithms interview.
