Paid plans are crazy to set up if you are a worldwide Saas based in Europe ...
We were lucky to meet our first online paying customer even before we released our paid plans.
He needed some features so we developed everything quickly including the paid plans.
We started to get quality leads coming from SEO meaning the ratio bots online/ signups started to increase.
People who sign up now, come with a specific idea and do their bot in a short period of time now.
SEO is great for our business, we'll focus more on that now.
We are in lockdown for a while now in France.
With our friends and family, we started to share a lot of info, games, ideas and tips for spending that time nicely.
We wanted to share all this to help people during this crisis.
So, we used our no-code bot builder to build Betty Bot, a chatbot to help people through the Covid-19 crisis.
Betty Bot can:
- give you the latest news,
- answer to your questions,
- help you cope with your anxiety,
- give you many ideas to be in a good mood and good shape.

Upvoted, congrats on the launch!
We posted messages on some slack and Facebook groups saying we are looking for beta testers and that our no-code bot builder is free.
In retrospect, we should have focused on the number of bots online, not the number of registrants.
That what we do now!
After 6 months, we finished building our MVP.
You can't build a bot builder in 2 weeks, the infrastructure to give users the possibility to create their chatbot is too complicated.
To launch as quickly as possible, we didn't add some necessary UX features yet.
We are doing it now.
I subscribed to Ship by Product Hunt. It gives me regular subscribers. Not sure about the quality here.
I wrote emails to invite some marketers to join the beta.
My objective was to get 250 subscribers.
I expect ten chatbots online with this list.

I subscribed Ship by Product Hunt last week but it didn't give me a lot of subscribers.
I'm starting to write emails to invite them to join the beta.
I will post on Facebook and Slack groups and on Hacker News.
I will write some articles on Medium also.
My co-founder finally joined me full-time.
Serious things can finally start!
I talk now to marketers. We want to build a chatbot platform for lead generation.
I stop selling the bot prototype, I look for beta testers.
My co-founder is building the no-coding platform.
We hope to have it at the beginning of July🤞
