Jotio
Quick notes—active notes stay, ignored ones auto-archive.
I built Jotio because I was annoyed by cluttered note apps. Most notes I write down are temporary—random ideas, reminders, things I might explore later—but traditional apps treat every note like it must be kept forever. Over time, this creates a huge pile of notes I rarely revisit.
Jotio experiments with a different model:
Quickly capture a thought from anywhere
Notes go into an inbox for review
Active notes stay visible
Ignored notes automatically archive (and optionally auto-delete after a configurable time)
The result: ideas that keep pulling your attention stay visible, while the rest fades away without manual cleanup.
This project is about focusing on what matters, keeping your workspace light, and letting software handle the clutter. I’d love feedback from other makers—how do you handle temporary ideas and notes?
About
I built Jotio because most note apps treat every thought as permanent, creating clutter. It captures ideas quickly, keeps active notes visible, and automatically archives ignored ones.
