Built JourneoAI to reduce travel planning fatigue
Hello everyone.
I always loved travelling , meeting new people, cultures and places .
At my last trip in Amsterdam me and my friends were hanging in the park outside Van Gogh's museum at afternoon and realised we have nothing planned for the rest of the day.
That suddenly hit me , why wouldn't be a tool that gives you a full itinerary in seconds based on vibe and budget (not even a destination if you are not sure).
So i built exactly that , or trying to. That's why i'm looking for your honest and brutal feedback.
Thank you all in advance
About
Planning a trip should feel exciting. Instead, it often turns into decision fatigue I built Journeo after realizing I kept optimizing every trip until it stopped feeling fun.

Congrats on the launch, looks solid. How are you currently thinking about acquiring early users and gathering feedback?
Thanks a lot. Currently the project is through Phase 1 , looking for concept validation . So currently through social media mostly.
That makes sense. Phase 1 is focused on the signal rather than the scale.
One effective strategy I've noticed for validating concepts, especially in the early stages, is to test your positioning within niche Reddit communities where your target users are already discussing the specific problem you aim to solve. The feedback you receive tends to be much more direct than on social media because users are not just scrolling; they are actively seeking solutions.
Out of curiosity, who would you consider your ideal early user?
Real travellers with genuine interest in exploring based on vibe and budget, but dont want or dont have the time planning a full day to day itinerary
That’s a solid starting point. I would suggest narrowing it even further for Phase 1.
The term “real travelers” is quite broad. Instead, consider focusing on specific sub-groups such as:
- First-time city visitors who feel overwhelmed by their options
- Busy professionals planning short trips (3–5 days)
- Budget-conscious travelers who prioritize experiences over luxury
These sub-groups tend to engage in specific Reddit communities, and their questions are usually very direct, such as, “What shouldn’t I miss in X city during my 3-day visit?”
If your positioning speaks directly to those discussions instead of using a generic phrase like “plan better trips,” the validation signal becomes much clearer.
Out of curiosity, are you focusing on specific destinations first, or are you keeping it global for now?
