Junior Boss
Teaching kids entrepreneurship, through practice
I've learned a lot about the bubble.io functionality but haven't been able to master good design.
I'd watched a lot of videos by Greg from Buildcamp.io that were really helpful on this front. So I decided to sign up for the camp and use it to design the landing page for Junior Boss.
From my last app (Docket) I'd come to realize that I should VALIDATE my idea before building too many features. So I decided to build a well designed landing page to explain the concept and only build the actual app features if I get about 100 wait list sign ups.
Growing up in India, entrepreneurship wasn't something that kids dabbled in. Mini businesses like lemonade stands or cookie sales were only seen on TV and in movies.
I'd watched a TED talk by Cameron Herold (https://www.ted.com/talks/cameron_herold_let_s_raise_kids_to_be_entrepreneurs) on raising kids to be entrepreneurs, a long time ago.
I wondered if there was a way to make it easier for more kids to grow up with an entrepreneurial mindset. Kids mini businesses aren't complex... there has to be a way right?
That's when I stumbled upon another TED talk by Bill Roche on the Power of an Entrepreneurial Mindset (https://youtu.be/Ihs4VFZWwn4). I saw how he had created a program and was able to cultivate this entrepreneurial mindset among many many children in various schools.
I knew there had to be a way to codify this system so that more kids from anywhere in the world could unleash their creative inner entrepreneur.
After having tried my hand at 2 prior businesses (hunQRy and Docket) and learning so much along the way... I think I know how to do this.
Here we go...

Kids all around the world start businesses and learn entrepreneurial skills very young. I was inspired by a ted talk by Cameron Herald and wanted to build something that could help more kids learn entrepreneurship.
