Kaapi
Build happy, high-performing remote teams
The insight is surprisingly boring --> you build some, you sell some. And the results add up.
Showing up everyday is an underrated skill. I wish I had some major growth engines going on right now (SEO has started a bit) but it has majorly been reaching out to potential leads on Linkedin and twitter
Seems just yesterday that we launched! The learnings are the same as countless others, and quite boring honestly
- Ship everyday
- Focus on the most impactful stuff
- Go after a large boring market. It's completely ok if its crowded with competitors. In fact thats a good thing

How did we accomplish this? Not really sure? I guess this is one of those times when the hard work of the last 1 year is now showing results ..
Maybe launching on a Friday is helping too.. there is not too much competition. Corollary, not too much traffic too on the website from the ProductHunt!

Just crossed $300 MRR. Kinda wild that if I take a one month holiday today, I will still get ~$300 in bank next month 😅
Also proud that 99% of September went into building for future; rest all is automated! 💪 SaaS is crazy powerful if your goal is financial freedom.

💸Got another yearly subscription to Kaapi! Now at $240 MRR. Feels tiny, but such small wins make a huge difference to me - vulnerable, confused, and still a wannabe entrepreneur in many ways 😇
Also, increased pricing by 40% to $28/m ✅https://buff.ly/2Qk3WfE

Most of the users came during our PH launch! But surprisingly the ones who paid are all known connections that I have met in the past.
Says a lot about maintaining relationships over years! It feels great that we have now built something that is validated. If we just keep our head down and execute daily we should get to our goal of $1000 MRR

Great product and congrats! :) I'm also doing a team-related product, so it's exciting to see others working in the same field (albeit different products) haha.

Thanks Alexandra! Good to know :) What is your product? Lemme know if I can help in any way

My product is Teamo, a platform to create virtual group cards to celebrate team members! (https://teamo.team/) Kaapi's definitely great to check the daily pulse of the team, whereas Teamo's great for a once-in-a-while celebration. Would be cool to collaborate, after things take off more! :)

Surprisingly, and without prompting, a customer asked for an annual deal on https://www.kaapi.team/
Fantastic reminder to never undersell yourself, and really happy that this is a good validation of us building something which is actually useful!
Feels good.

We just went live on Producthunt. It's very humbling to see that just a few months ago, this was just an idea in our heads. Have followed some of the popular checklists and guides properly, and fingers crossed, it should be a good launch.
We are #1 as of now so lets hope we can continue the streak

Aditya, did you get any paid customer via PH? Could you share more information on the outcomes of the PH?

- Did a lot of community building activities on Reddit. By now I think I would have personally answered some 30+ posts in detail!
- Personal social media and cajoling friends to help me spread the word
- Slowly started climbing the Slack directory rankings and I think now that we are on the 9th page of "HR Apps" category, we have started getting organic results.

We worked with 14 beta customers for 3-4 weeks before finally opening up for the larger public. Definitely turn out to be a good decision because the product now is way more stable and smoother.
We were able to learn a lot from the earliest customers. Now on to the growth stage (hopefully!)
