Kahana

We enabled users to share workspaces they create in Kahana publicly, allowing anyone (even those who do not use Kahana) to view these workspaces and read through/navigate its contents.

The goal is to enable users to share their knowledge with others, as workspaces provide a helpful, easily digestible way to share information.

Website went live on 7/31.

Since then, ~16 people signed up and paid for our Limited Preview Release. Folks have articulated an understanding of the value the product provides.

Our first organic customer came from Twitter. He had heard about the product and searched for a demo. He inquired directly about whether Kahana could help him streamline a large amount of research he would undertake for a non-fiction book he was writing. This is a perfect use-case for Kahana.

When we confirmed the $34.50 price was a lifetime value, he bought Kahana.
