As an end to end data processing app, Kalkula is big and long process for user. So here I decide to launch only data quality feature first. I hope this will enable user to try to explore and find it help full for them.

As separate product from my main app, Kalkula - Data watch designed to only serve data quality checking for user. But here I also decide to make it as an open source tools. In term of capabilities, in this app user still have to upload their data but after the action user can directly reading data exploration, setting up data quality rules, apply them and got the report and preprocessing suggestion.

The journey of creating Kalkula was deeply personal and driven by a desire to solve a common pain point that my team and I experienced as data analysts. We were constantly grappling with data of varying quality from different sources, which hindered our ability to perform efficient and accurate analysis. It was frustrating to spend valuable time and effort on data harmonization before we could even begin our analysis work.

Realizing that we were not alone in facing this challenge, we set out to create Kalkula—an all-in-one solution that simplifies data integration and preprocessing. Our goal was to make the lives of data analysts easier and more productive by providing a user-friendly platform that automates the tedious data harmonization process. With Kalkula, analysts can now seamlessly integrate data from diverse sources and focus on extracting valuable insights without the hassle of manual data preparation.
