Kamigen
A tropical cyberpunk world with a webcomic and web game
AdSense has been setup to autoplace a small to moderate number of ads within the site. I didn't want it to be too disruptive so vignette and dropdown ads are out.
There's also now a merchandise section on the official website which is powered by the Open Studios RedBubble shop.
Writing began in October and resulted in the iconic book cover and about 20 comic pages coming out around this time.
Since creating that initial set of pages, the Kamigen project has gone from being just a game to being the scaffold for an entire franchise.
As an indie game developer, focusing on the art and lore of my world through the comics helped me create a more interesting place for the audience.

I set out to build a fun RPG game with aircraft combat but got sidetracked in developing a webcomic for its lore. The webcomic has been a lot of fun to produce and been rewarding so it's taken over the game.
