Hey folks! We just launched the alpha version of Kanbanq – our new, lightweight project management tool built for developers, designers, and small teams who like to keep things lean.
Kanbanq combines the simplicity of a kanban board with the structure of agile sprints. It features a dual-board system (Backlog + Sprint), real-time collaboration, and even has AI baked in to help with task breakdowns, summaries, and backlog organisation.
This short video shows us using our own internal board to plan Kanbanq itself – because yes, we built the tool we always wanted to use.
We’ll be posting more behind-the-scenes clips soon, showing how editing cards, sprint planning, and categories work. No plug-ins, no bloat – just clean, fast, intuitive planning.

I think it's simple and can be good for quick project or planning event. I watched the demo video and it basically answered my questions around how your product is different from the competitors, I'd add this info to the top of the landing page. Also I'd not hesitate to integrate with JIRA or other tracking tools to import tickets (this can be useful if companies don't want to move away from using them completely yet).
