Managed IT Knowledge Base Platform

August 22, 2025 I made an IT knowledge base with a library of included KB articles and auto updates

In my years working in IT, I looked many times for a knowledge base that could actually reduce our helpdesk workload. But I only found what were essentially fancy text editors or empty wikis.

My team couldn't just send users to the software vendors' own help sites because their guides were always messy, complicated, and full of unnecessary info and distractions, making it hard for a non-technical person to find clear step by step instructions.

The other part of the problem was maintenance. Even if my team found the time to write our own guides, they became obsolete the moment a piece of software updated its UI.

I looked everywhere for a knowledge base tool that came with clean, user-friendly articles built-in, but never found a solution.

So as a side project during nights and weekends I decided to build Kandbe. I've created 300+ support guides so far for 35+ different pieces of software. And I created a super user-friendly interface that makes it easy to follow each guide.

About

Working in IT, I could never find a knowledge base with pre-written guides for common tools that auto update when software changes. Vendor help guides are messy and I saw how often users got lost trying to follow them.
