I launched Kawze on July 1st
Built it solo, but I work on projects with friends and colleagues, and I got sick of every monitoring tool charging for everything.
I didn't like having to pay to make a GET request and paying for my friend to be able to access it too.
Why is a GET request a paid plan?! So I decided to make my own uptime monitoring website
Kawze is now the break away competitor in the industry
A 100% free tier, no card required at all. Add as many people as you want, it's all free.
We do charge subscription fees for our other tiers, but these are extremely generous and to cover the costs of SMS + uncapped emails
Would genuinely like to hear if others have hit the same pay-wall and felt the same way

The generous free tier is the strongest differentiator here, but the harder question is what users will actually pay for once basic monitoring is free. The SMS and higher-volume reliability features seem like the natural place to prove willingness to pay.
