KernelPanel
A modern, sysadmin-friendly web hosting control panel
Hello everyone,
If you manage server infrastructures, you know the drill: most industry-standard control panels are monolithic giants. They get the job done, but under the hood, many are built on decades-old C++, Perl, or legacy PHP codebases that feel like a black box.
As a team dealing with deployments and server stability daily, we were tired of tools that either have UI/UX from the early 2000s or are just too bloated for modern workflows. We wanted a management platform that feels transparent, secure, and actually pleasant to use.
That’s why we built KernelPanel.
We aren't a massive corporate machine, just a team trying to build a better tool for the community. We focused on creating a modern ecosystem rather than just another traditional panel. Here is our approach:
Modern & Intuitive UI: We completely reimagined the user experience. Managing Nginx configs, PHP environments, and databases shouldn't feel like navigating a maze.
Robust Web Stack: It handles Nginx and PHP-FPM seamlessly, optimized for stability without unnecessary background overhead.
Powered by Python & Django: This is our core difference under the hood. Instead of legacy spaghetti code, we engineered the core entirely using Python and Django. This provides enterprise-grade security and keeps the panel logic perfectly isolated from your hosted web services.
Sysadmin-Friendly: Built for professionals who want depth and control without the clutter.
We recently launched on Product Hunt, but I know the real test comes from communities like IH who build and manage actual projects daily.
If you are working on SaaS projects or managing servers, I’d love for you to check it out.
As a technical founder, what is the biggest pain point you face when handling your server infrastructure?
