June 24, 2020 Development started!

After some thought, we've found a name for the project that we love (Kiff). We've also bought the perfect domain for the app (kiff.app).

So we open Xcode, setup the project, and start with the development. We've decided to develop the app fully with SwiftUI. We know it's a young technology and that it might be buggy and sometimes limited. But we believe it's the best way to get our app out there, sooner than later.

We've another app in SwiftUI in the making, so some of those bugs and limitations are already known to us.

June 23, 2020 Idea

It's been a tough year for all of us, and stocking groceries in the middle of a pandemic while working for home has been quite challenging. As days blend, we lost track of when we did buy, open, or cook something. It did happen a lot to us.

That's why we've decided to create an app that helps you manage your fridge and pantry better, so you can reduce your food waste to the bare minimum, save money, and help the planet.

About

We build Kiff with one goal in mind: help you eat your food in its best state possible. Because food loses its nutritional capabilities after keeping it for too long, and if spoiled, it can be a risk for your health.
