Kiko

I posted my MVP on Product Hunt and received another 17 submissions to request beta access to the dashboard! A few days later I reached out to them individually via e-mail to invite them. Over the next few days, I'll be monitoring their activity and feedback!

I created a Tiktok & Twitter account for Kiko. I posted videos of my MVP (a web app and slack bot) on Tiktok, and it got me decent engagement: 350+ likes, 4.5k views, and 76 followers! I put the link to my beta access request form in the bio, and ended up receiving 20 submissions!

I used python notebooks to generate the backend with a simple Flask server. It took several months to come up with the proper AI model with 85% accuracy. I decided to use Retool to host my MVP dashboard, because I didn't want to spend time coding things like buttons, modals, etc.

While sitting on a train to NYC, I was in a meeting and being asked by several teams to analyze the same data with very similar questions. I thought "wouldn't it be better if these non-technical co-workers could ask their data questions directly?"

I realized that SQL/pandas/data frameworks are great, but there's still a huge barrier to entry for the average person to use them to get basic questions about their data answered.
