Kintsugi
Smart voice journaling platform for mental health.
Teamwork makes the dream work. Brought on Joelene, a summer intern, to help launch Kintsugi more broadly worldwide. The internet responded with users across 250 global cities and a lot of new user feedback slated for our roadmap. Our team hosts a Sunday First-Time User Experience Workflow session from the UX leader who created Amazon Home Delivery. Dr. Mario Benitez-Lopez from Stanford Medical joins the team.
Upon reviewing your submitted Project Pitch, I am pleased to inform you that you are invited to submit a full proposal to the NSF SBIR/STTR Phase I program for Artificial Intelligence (AI). Our team celebrates after we narrowly submit a day after the deadline. Thanks Peter!

We weren't sure if anyone was going to purchase the app but with a nudge from Raje, we posted a $19.99 price and received our first lengthy feedback from Kris, who found me through a Slack group because the support email wasn't updated to the new domain, d'oh! Thank Kris for all your candid feedback, we definitely improved the app's navigation in the subsequent iterations.

Met up with Rima at an OpenAI Hackathon and Spinning Up workshop, brought on our first Machine Learning Scientist! Extended an offer to Rajeshree to join as the team's Product Director. Raje has worked on building core products at Autodesk (Autocad) and Facebook (Ads). Pitched at Docs and Hackers, onboarded Dr. Marlene Grenon and Dr. Girish Subramanyan to the team as Advisors.

AutoCAD toolsets are a restructuring and include new features, in the classic AutoCAD that includes workspaces and tools arranged in specific industry-specific methods. The aim is to accelerate modeling by removing things you don't require and increasing the features you'll use.
Utilized research on Pennebaker's Paradigm and the efficacy of journaling, MIT's latest multimodal LSTM works on depression, and built an iOS voice journaling app to transcribe and measure feelings on every entry. Testing iterations on users from the initial interviews and early adoption segments.

Just returned from Japan, quit my job and started working on Kintsugi full-time in San Francisco. Talked to a hundred or so people about daily stressors and how they currently cope. Started working on an iOS application to capture our feelings and measurement around mood.
