Paste-it!
Phrase keyboard that will save you up to 12 hours per month
For now we don't support Paste-it! anymore. Total revenue was around $300 bucks with the total spendings of >700$.
There were a lot of learnings around the product and it's lifecycle. As far as how to build relations and find first customers.
Keeping fingers crossed to succeed in the new gig.
From the previous release we've stabilized on the numbers we've achieved and for now, we're on the plateau with impressions and installs.
We have launched a nice minor update which brings more value to the product:
- now there's an ability to group templates and manage them easily
- also we've rethinked ask for review flow
- added minor improvements to the keyboard itself
Last but not least. We've received first Lifetime Deal! This is really important and gives us more confidence in our direction. Yay 🥳

With the latest updated we've achieved some growth that we expected to have for a long time
What we did:
- localized app metadata (name, subtitle, keywords) for 29 languages
What we achieved:
- x3 growth in impressions
- x2.5 growth in installations
Seems to be that we're moving in the right direction and moving the needle.

We've launched the new minor version of Paste-it! It contains minor fixes but the biggest improvements are made on the side of ASO.
What we did:
- Completely changed app screenshots with more focus on user problems and use cases and less on the app itself
- Changed subtitle, title & keywords to aim more on relevant user searches
Waiting to see if it will gather any results so far.

We've made a slight update which brought some settings options to our current users.
From now they can send their feedbacks with ease and send us reviews and ratings easier.
It's a minor one but hopefully will give us more connection with the users.

Finally, we've achieved our first yearly subscription!
We've tried Apple Search Ads campaign which actually performed much better than Telegram campaign.
- Ad cost: 66$
- Reach: 1970
- Taps: 142
- Installs: 54
- CR to Click: 7.59%
- CR to Install: 2.74%
- Cost per Click: $0.47
- Cost per Install: $1.23
But still in the path of finding an ROI-positive acquisition channel we haven't succeed. We're still have few subscriptions to cover at least acquisition costs to 0.

So far we're still trying to find where our audience is. So we've made a hypothesis that we can find people in the related Telegram channels.
We've tried to have an ad inside SMM-related channel. What was the input:
- Ad Cost: 7$
- Channel Audience: 5000
- Average post views in this channel: 2000
And the results so far:
- Clicks: 45
- Installs: 1
- CR to Click: 3%
- CR to Install: 0.06%
- Cost Per Click: $0.225
- Cost Per Install: $7
So far seems to be this channel isn't working well. We still thinking if there is any potential to try alternative groups or channels and maybe we'll try another one.

Interesting, I didn't think about using Telegram for marketing.
How do you do that, do you use a particular channel for ads? What are the other targeting options?
From what I understood from your IH page, the best audience might be support stuff.

@uluhonolulu I'm searching for topic-related telegram channels and by ads there.
For now, tried SMM-related channels but seems it's not our audience.
Regarding the support - also was thinking about that but actually, there're two problems down there:
- Don't know yet where I can promote the app to them
- Occasionally they do use specific software that solves their problem, so not sure if it's the real audience.

It's usually a very bad practice to launch an app in your name, you may see way better results if you launch it as an entity. This may increase trust. Start there, run the ad again, this time with another channel and check the result.

Do you mean that launching app as an entity rank it higher? Seems a bit unfair policy from Apple side)

No I didn'tsay that or mean that. You have quite a lot.of views in the channel, and if you only had 1 download, it maybe related to your App identity. Users trust apps launched by an entities (organization) compare to those launched by individuals.

Fair enough. But what was I thinking it's actually maybe not really relevant audience as well.

Made several changes to the product:
- Made an ASO cover more target keys
- Tested an Apple Search Ads on a small budget (nothing played well)
- Also switched the name from Klavdii to Paste-it in terms of better optimization in the AppStore
What we've achieved with those changes:
- Now we've got around 50 Monthly Active Users. Not much but something
- First Lifetime (30$) payment happened
- Got 300 installs in total

We've achieved for three weeks:
- 2 monthly payments (4$ — yaay!)
Not much. What we've tried during this 3 weeks:
- Trying to acquire new users via related Facebook groups
- Made several posts on Reddit
- Still trying to find interested persons via personal network

We've made several changes and improvements to the Paste-it app and prepared it for publication in the AppStore.
The launch itself was pretty smooth. No major issues from the Apple Verification Team. Just several comments regarding the screenshots.
First organic users started to come in.
