Barbers and stylists sign ups have gone up exponentially!

With our online booking app, barbers & stylists will reduce time at the check out counter and ensure money is not changing hands. At Klipped, all appointments booked through the app are prepaid and clients can even tip through the app after the appointment. This helps to reduce the risk of no-shows and charges them cancellations fees if they miss an appointment. Letting clients see the stylist's schedule, book and pay reduces the time stylists & stylists are on the phone or communicating with them about appointment options and ensures barbers & stylists get paid quickly and accurately. Clients also prefer this method a lot of times!

Bringing new stylist / barber into our platform has been our main focus this year. Once we bring one stylist, that stylist brings us many clients! We continue to grow every week, and cannot wait for our results this year! Our goal is to triple our appointments by the end of the year. As of now, Klipped has a native iOS app for both the clients to book appointments and for the barbers to manage their business. We also have an Android app for clients to book from (we still need this for the barbers/stylists).

Our weblink feature was a game-changer for our stylists! When a provider (barber or stylist) creates a profile on the app, it automatically builds a web page for them using this information. This URL is customizable by the user and it gives them a booking link for social media, to text out or to add to their existing website. This interface updates automatically with their app profile and displays accurate times, pricing and reviews.

It's been a long slog to get here, but Klipped app just passed 800 signups! This has been the result of several efforts, including blogging, social media marketing, press, pop up events

We were stuck around 600 signups for a long time, but what really turned the tide for us was pop up events and word of mouth. I ended up partnering up with locals in SB to do collab events. Now I'm just hoping that a lot of them will convert to paying users soon.

The Klipped app is now over 4,500 bookings , enough to get some investors attention!

Probably the biggest thing that helped us get here was getting more stylists that utilize the app the right way. we are offering a FREE version where stylists can use most of the main features and that is bringing more downloads.

This is super exciting, because it means that I could theoretically afford to quit my job and go full-time on Klipped app if I am able to get a certain amount of stylist on the app . But I'm not sure if I'll make that jump just yet
