It was the summer of 2016, and I was in my second internship with Boeing. I would hand out with fellow interns and ask the same simple question, "Where are you going after you leave here?" I would hear the same answers as "I'm going to work for LinkedIn or Amazon or Nordstrom rack." I noticed none of them are mentioning working for Boeing. So I thought to myself this is a problem I could solve, Boeing is having a hard time retaining interns. This was the first time I thought about ENTREPRENEURSHIP as an option. I called by husband and told him, "I think we can solve the problem of intern retention."
