I learn to code for years but never released product. So I did 1 month 1 product challenge and this is my very first product that I launch
Launching??
Kontrast finished. And damn it looks good.
I made a simple landing page and a Product Hunt account to promote it. Surprise!! Product Hunt needs 3 days to validate my account before I'm able to post a product😄. And guess what??
I made Indie Hackers account.
And submitting product have to wait for approval😄
Time to work
"Meh, I probably just throw some React and some nice UI toolkit. It will be done in 2 days"
2 weeks later..
"Excuse me... What the f#@~!" - Me, realized how naive I was at the beginning.
Unfortunately, the same functionality is hard to implement in the browser. Playing with iframe is the least fun of this project. There was cross-origin issue and React doesn't react as expected (i'm sorry) in an iframe. I'm almost give up when color picker feature is nearly impossible to do in browser. A lot of hacks used in this side project but somehow I managed to finish the project.
Planning
I want to build a side project. So, after browsing Product Hunt a lot. I decided to make contrast checker tool.
The idea came from an app made by Sam Soffes Contrast (You should check that out!).
Contrast is only for Mac, so that would be great if it runs in a browser extension because browsers run everywhere.
