Having an idea in a shape that is ready to share with the rest of the organization is not always easy. You want to fine tune it, add some details and write it in a way that will interest others. But you have a lot of initial thoughts all the time and you often forget them.
So we launched 'Thoughts', a simple way to store whatever is on your mind, directly on the web or via Slack. You will the opportunity to convert them to ideas, see thoughts from others and find people thinking about the same as you, so you can reach out and develop full featured ideas together!
One step close to making innovation "business as usual"
Based on feedback from folks I've been talking too, I've changed the design of the account and organization area to make it more easy to navigate and use. Changed to stronger colors and made content more visible. Still a few changes to go, but I'm happy with the result so far.
At the same time, made copy changes to the Homepage and a few improvements to the onboarding (state for no data yet) of new orgs and users
Today I launched the Zapier and Slack integrations for any organization. Zapier is invitation only for now, while Slack is generally available.
The Slack integration will share all newly created ideas in a specified slack channel.
The Zapier integration allows all new ideas to be sent to hundreds of other applications, meaning ideas can take life of their own in other platforms.
In the future, I want the slack integration to include weekly statistics for example and have direct message / bot features. For zapier, I didn't think that far, but for sure roadmap updates will be included at some point.
First time sharing Lampant in the open, apart from friends and a few companies I reached out a few months ago for research. Excited to get feedback and for what comes next.
I'm starting to get some organic visits and I've enabled registration for any visitor at this point. Payments still don't work but that's fine, just want to get the ball rolling and get some initial feedback
