Landr

On July 13, I launched Landr on Product Hunt and it achieved top 5th product of the day with around 400 up votes. I launched exactly at 00:00 AM PST when Product Hunt resets its list of top products for the day.

Around same time I tweeted about the launch on Twitter and helped me get some more traction during the PH launch.

I received so many good feedbacks which I think are valid and helped me rethink about some of the features.

My main target audience is non technical people who find it difficult to created landing pages with traditional drag and drop website builders.

Right now I'm looking for channels where I can market Landr effectively. I have been following up with people who subscribed on the launch day.

After months of hard work I have finally finished the MVP for landr.page with just 2 templates. Right now both of the templates are suitable for SaaS products. In future I'm planning to add templates for students who want to create portfolio websites, freelancers who want to show their skills to clients and templates for some other categories as well.

I will be releasing the product soon (within the next couple of days) on Product Hunt, Reddit, Hacker New, Beta List and Beta Page.

The plan is to see the response after the launch and add more templates as requested.

I'm a part time indie developer and freelancer. I often used to get requests from clients to make changes on their websites, build new websites for them. Even though there are platforms like wix, webflow, carrd.co etc available, there are people who would like someone to build websites for them even even though the website builders are much cheaper than what I charge them.

Most of the websites builders on the market today are drag and drop tools and want you to be creative while creating a landing page. It's not straight forward for someone who doesn't use computers often.

So I decided to build this unconventional website builder where users don't have to worry about the design of the website at all. They just have to select a template from available templates we provide and fill out all the information the template needs and create their website in minutes.

The main niche for this product is the non tech people who don't know how to use website builders.
