Languageer: Learn language with A.I. chatbot

I moved to Spain a little over year ago, and started immediately practicing Spanish with Duolingo.

I learned couple of words here and there, but it felt like the words wouldn’t stick in my brain, or I wouldn’t know how to use them in conversation, so I thought to myself - why wouldn’t I practice language the way I would eventually use it, by using it to communicate with people.

The problem was, my Spanish was not in any way in the level of locals, especially conversationally, as Duolingo felt more like memorizing words, than learning to use the words in conversation.

I tried to search around options to practice languages at low level conversationally, and only options I found was to use GPT-3 (later when it was released, ChatGPT too) and feed instructions to it at start of each session.

However after some time this got quite cumbersome, as I had to always re-feed the prompts and sometimes ChatGPT was offline without premium.

Sharing the prompts with my fellow language learners also wasn't easy, as some non tech-savvy friends didn't really understand how the prompts worked, and the learning process ended up sucking for them.

The good part was that by that time I had already developed prompts that helped the A.I. to expose the learners to greater set of vocabulary.

I decided to fine-tune my own GPT-3 model on OpenAI to make it better for language learning, and create app around it.

I published the apps a while ago for me and my friends to try out, and actually have gained quite some users, and thought why wouldn’t I try to share the word a little online, to try to gather more feedback to improve the app for me and others.

Because of the price I have to pay for OpenAI to use GPT-3, I have currently limited the app to 5 messages per day without subscription, but I am going to adjust this as I see how my bill will be for using this.

I honestly want any feedback for the app, as I've mostly built it for my own needs and probably have developed tunnel vision.

I would love if any of you could try out this app and give me some feedback.
