November 29, 2023 The inspiration behind this idea

Developing the idea for Langy was an intriguing journey that combined my interest in AI, language, and a commitment to addressing translation challenges. Here's a glimpse into how the concept of Langy took shape:

Observing Translation Challenges:
The initial spark came from observing common challenges people faced with existing translation tools. I noticed instances where translations lacked context or failed to convey the intended meaning.

Personal Frustrations:
Reflecting on my own experiences with language barriers and translation hiccups fueled the desire to create a solution. Personal frustrations often serve as powerful motivators for innovation.

Interest in AI:
A few weeks ago, I had no background in AI. However, when I came up with this idea, I realized that AI is extremely useful for translations and could potentially help solve all my problems.

AI Fine-Tuning:
The real challenge lay in fine-tuning the AI. Countless hours were invested in perfecting translations and explanations. This process involved not only language intricacies but also understanding the user's primary language for a personalized experience.

In summary, the idea for Langy emerged from a combination of personal experiences, a keen interest in AI, a deep understanding of user needs, and a commitment to addressing the challenges present in existing translation tools. The result is a translator that not only speaks languages but truly understands them.

About

Lately I have been studying French and many times I get frustrated with Google Translate and Duolingo because of translations out of context or that lose their essence. Then the idea came to me to create Langy.
