Just launched my first product ever and wanted to share it here!! :)

It's completely free!!!!!

I've honestly wanted something like this for a while. I oddly care a lot about how things look on my screen, and my new tab page was always bothering me, either it was the default Chrome theme or a minimal theme I didn't love, or some extension that just couldn't be customized the way I wanted.

I then decided I wanted an age counter, but after looking out there, the options were surprisingly limited... The fonts were lowk mid, the colors were locked in, and the ones that did have some customization still felt clunky. A few of them also wanted permissions that honestly felt a little sus for an age counter, and so I decided to build my own.

It's called Lapse. You can pick from 12 display formats (cascading decimals, days alive, seconds ticking, etc), 10+ gradient themes or create your own with any two hex colors, and upload literally any font you want. Everything stays on your device, no accounts, no tracking. I didn't even set up a server lol

This is my first ever launch and I'm doing Product Hunt today too, so if anyone wants to check it out there I'd really appreciate the support!
