Well, progress is good. I blame myself, i have been a bit slow in developing and posting content. I hope i will make a sale during the Black Friday - Cyber Monday period.
I suspect the low conversion rate is because i have not optimized the site well.
I have been doing KW research and i have a list of over 500 Long Tail Keywords. I have written over 200 titles for future posts. All titles score 80 + on Co-scheduler & sharethrough headline analyzer. And all long tail.
Next: Pinterest, Instagram etc

Well, this is not a big step, but it is something I appreciate. Conversion is very bad. My Amazon earning is Zero (0).....Zilch! I wish to get a partner to help me in that area.
But still, I consider it as a milestone. Even with the little content I have, which I consider substandard, am earning not less than $0.01 per day!

You're kinda limited with acquisition channels if you own a blog. Have you considered making, say, some interactive tools (you choose X things, we magically give you the best laptop)? You could then pitch a tool like that to the press (vs. here's my blog post).

Great! This is a good idea. I was trying to work on a "laptops finder" kind of tool. It is tricky for me to implement, because of my limited WordPress expertise. But am really considering it.
You are very right, tools tend to attract more traffic.

Am not sure what I did right/wrong to deserve the +100,000 jump! The only thing I did was to post an article and shared the same on Facebook and Twitter. Am yet to optimize the articles fully for my target Keyword.
Oh! Something else, I guess there was some traffic juice from IH. That is another new thing I did this week. And that's right about everything. Seems promising. I will double my effort this coming week!

Alexa doesn't really matter what rank you have.
What matter is organic traffic that you are doing, % conv. rate.
How much traffic do you have?

True, I just use it as a yardstick. My traffic is about 1700 unique visitors per day.

That's not bad at all. So you are making around 1k a month?

No. It is not 1K..! Not even close to 1K. I have not done a month yet since i started. But so far i have made like $9.33 only.

That's really strange you should earn at least 300$ from the traffic you said you have daily.
But what's missing are buttons like "check price". there's no call to action.
And remove Google ads. try first to optimize sales to amazon, then you can enable back and see.
What's the % traffic countries you get from in G.analytics?

Well, i guess the most of the traffic is not targeted. Because google has not indexed most of my pages.
I will reduce the Ads, i enabled auto-ad placement, and google seems to be doing a little extra!!
Yes, i have not optimized the content. Most of the existing content is the dummy, that came with the theme. I will consider optimizing.
Am getting 60% US, 10% UK and 30% from very many scattered places.

With 1400 traffic a day there should be at least 20% clicks to it and bare minimum lets say 1% conv.rate which is much higher than that. 2 sales a day or at least 1 a day.

I think my traffic is not well targeted. For example, the traffic from here IH, increased my daily average, but are not buyers.

Am happy that laptopsguide.com has been raising ranks everyday even without content. I am yet to start pushing traffic to the website because i thought i should first create enough content for the visitors to see.
I have been engaged in other tasks, that slowed me down on this.
I have already set up Facebook (fb.me/laptopsguide) and Twitter (twitter.com/laptopsguide) This coming week i will set up Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.
Am also learning SEO from online tutorials and YouTube.
Am Currently using UbberSuggest by Neilpatel.com for SEO.
Despite the fact that i am yet to create content for Laptops Guide, i have been able to make $1.88 this month. How? i don't know!
But it gives me hope, that when i start working seriously on the site, i will not lack a dollar or two per day.
I understand it is a very competitive niche. But what is life if you don't take such challenges.
It took over a week, but i finished setting up the basic WordPress CMS for laptopsguide.com complete with a premium theme.
I was assisted by a friend, because am not really good with wordPress. I'm excited to see how this goes.
I'm also done updating all the necessary plugins for this project.
I will design the other things on the go like logo and stuff like that.
I have always wished to try my hand on niche site building and Amazon affiliate kind of business/approach.
The one day, i landed on a forum and found this domain being auctioned at an affordable price. Well, i thought it wont hurt to grab it and try it out.
I have just started my journey in a very competitive and very dynamic niche. But it like the challenge. Am learning on the job. I have to study a lot of SEO and WordPress optimization hacks.
I am confident that in 2 - 3 years, laptopsguide.com will be respected and/or loved by Google Bots :-)
I don't intend to be the best in the industry, but i want to be among the best. I should be sharing their space in less than 2 years or so. That's my goal.

I hope you are doing great with your team. The amazon low conversion rate is due to the fact when someone don't optimize his site better than its competitors. Simply you can't miss any point that your competitor has covered and try to do the best on page and off page optimization than your top 10 competitors.
Here are few points to optimize your site to get best conversion:
Only cover the relevant and to the point topic. Cover it according to readers perspective.
Must use infographics, interesting visuals, and comparison tables.
I don't think that AdSense on money articles can be a good option.
Give the user information about product's every aspect and convince them to buy in a polite way. Don't mix the information because it can be frustrating.
Don't repeat the same thing and avoid keyword stuffing because overload information will result in users irritation.
