I really like the direction Launch Nest is taking. Giving useful but lesser-known products a chance to be discovered is something the startup ecosystem needs.

There’s a lot of noise in the product launch space. Launch Nest has a refreshing approach by making discovery feel more focused and useful.

There’s definitely a lot of noise around product launches. Launch Nest’s focused approach to discovery feels refreshing and practical. Looking forward to seeing how it helps more great products get noticed! 🚀

The relevance-based discovery is probably my favorite part. Not every great product is trending, so it’s nice to have a platform that can surface hidden gems.

Launch Nest makes product discovery feel much more practical. Instead of spending hours looking for new tools, you can quickly find products that are actually relevant to what you need.

Seems like an interesting tool. Is it me, or do these comments look a little ai generated?? And all made 2 hours ago. I'm new to IH, so still getting to know my way around. Genuinely, tools to help promote products in such a crowded market are certainly worth looking at, I'd be interested to hear of other similar tools.

I can already see myself using Launch Nest when I’m looking for new tools. The idea of getting recommendations based on my interests makes a lot of sense.

Product discovery becomes even more exciting when the question isn't just “how do I launch". ~

"How come I continue receiving discovery after launch day?" ”.

One thing I've noticed with launch platforms is that creating the initial spike seems easy, but the long tail proves to be far more difficult.

I am intrigued to learn how you are considering that segment with Launch Nest. Is the aim primarily to assist the makers in getting that initial burst of attention, or do you think about ways products can keep showing up for people weeks or months later?

That second component could be what makes a discovery platform truly useful instead of a mere launch directory.

    1. 1

That's a really good point. Launch day visibility is only the beginning.

With Launch Nest, the goal isn't to make it just another launch directory. We want products to have opportunities to keep being discovered after launch through ongoing discovery, relevant product exploration, and different ways for makers to gain visibility over time.

The idea is that a good product shouldn't disappear just because its launch day is over. We're still building out that long-tail discovery side, and I agree that it could become one of the most important parts of Launch Nest.

Does marketing feel like a chore?

GMaza hasn’t been built yet. Before committing to implementation, I’m testing one concrete signal: email preregistration from one- or two-person internet startup teams that struggle with early marketing.

This problem comes from my own workflow. Marketing felt harder than development, and I didn’t know where to start. AI could draft promotional copy, but I still had to move between platforms and accounts to publish it manually. The copy often felt disconnected from the product, and publishing didn’t lead to response analysis or a clear next action.

    GMaza is planned to connect:

    • marketing direction based on the product and its goals

    • channel-specific promotional copy

    • publishing to supported channels after final user approval

    • response, retention, and drop-off analysis

    • recommendations for the next step

This experiment measures interest and perceived need—not product usage or willingness to pay.

Every preregistrant will receive a seven-day pass available after launch and 50% off the first payment for the 30-day plan. Neither benefit expires.

If this is a workflow you need, preregister with your email:

This is an interesting workflow, especially the part about connecting promotion with response analysis and the next action.

I can definitely relate to the problem of having to manually move between different platforms after creating a product. The gap between creating marketing content and actually understanding what worked is often overlooked.

Good luck with the GMaza experiment — I’ll be interested to see what you learn from the preregistration.

Nice concept. Visibility is a major challenge for founders, but as more SaaS and AI products get launched through platforms like this, trust can become another important factor in conversion.

Many founders focus on getting traffic first, then later discover that potential users, partners, or enterprise customers have questions about privacy, security, and how their data is handled. I work with SaaS and AI businesses on compliance and security readiness, including privacy documentation, risk assessments, and vendor due diligence.

It would be interesting to see whether Launch Nest eventually introduces features that help users evaluate products beyond just discovery—especially around trust and transparency. 🔐

    1. 1

Thank you, Penelope — I completely agree that discovery and trust should eventually go hand in hand.

Launch Nest is currently focused on helping products get discovered, but I think transparency around privacy, security, and how a product handles user data could become a valuable part of the platform as it grows.

The goal is to help people discover products with more confidence, not just more visibility. I really appreciate the suggestion and will keep this in mind as we plan future features.

I am new here. But this product looks interesting!

I thought I'd give your app/website a go. It was a bit confusing at first, some of the links went straight to 404 pages but didn't when I signed up? Still I've added my new web-app and I look forward to see what kind of traction it gets, thank you. As people are saying the app development world is only growing and any form of promotion is most welcome. Good Luck with your project.

Product discovery is definitely a problem for indie makers, but I think the harder part is getting the right people to discover a product, not just more people.

A launch can generate plenty of views and still produce very few meaningful users if the audience doesn’t match the product.

How are you thinking about filtering or matching products with the people most likely to actually need them?

  14. 1

Really interesting concept. Product discovery is often just as challenging as building the product itself, especially for indie makers. Launch Nest’s focus on helping products get discovered beyond launch day could make it especially valuable. Best of luck with the project! 🚀

In my opinion, product discovery should be absolutely frictionless. I tried to browse the listed products and it asked me to sign-up. I would leave signing-up exclusively for adding/launching a product, but allow free and easy discovery.

If you want to keep this route, I'd also add other SSO methods, since not everybody might be comfortable using their Google account, and even if this is a bit more work, I'd also allow traditional email/password sign-up.

  16. 1

pretty straightforward for discovery, i like the simplicity. Not too many distractive features to just share your product for new eyeballs

  17. 1

A lot of cool products get launched and then just disappear because nobody sees them at the right time. Having one place to discover new tools and see what other makers are building feels like a good idea. Definitely checking this out.

  18. 1

    Hi,

This is interesting. As a solo builder, I’m realizing that getting discovered is often harder than building the product itself.

How do you plan to help new products get visibility beyond simply listing them?

  19. 1

I like how straightforward the concept is. There are thousands of products being launched, and Launch Nest gives people a better way to find the ones worth exploring.

  20. 1

What makes Launch Nest interesting is that discovery doesn’t have to be a popularity competition. A smaller product can still be highly valuable to the right person.
