There are thousands of indie makers building useful tools, but after launch, many products quickly disappear under hundreds of other launches.

The distinction between getting discovered and getting the right users is probably the more interesting problem. A launch platform can solve visibility, but I'd be curious whether the real bottleneck for builders is discovery itself or finding people who actually have a reason to try the product.
