LawDesk
Offline-first mobile docket for legal cases, court deadlines
LawDesk — a mobile case & deadline tracker for small law offices.
The problem I kept running into: legal software is either enterprise-heavy (full PMS, subscriptions, onboarding calls) or visually generic. A lot of solo lawyers and small firms just need a clear matter list, the next court date, and counsel notes — on their phone, without a backend.
So I built that shell.
What it does
- Files — searchable matter registry with dossier-style cards, REF numbers, status filters
- Deadlines — chronological timeline (Today / Tomorrow / Overdue)
- Case detail — court, practice area, notes, mark as closed
- New matter — full-screen form with 8 practice areas
Tech
- Expo 54 + React Native + Expo Router
- Zustand + AsyncStorage (local, on-device)
- TypeScript
No server, no API keys to run locally. npm install → expo start.
I’m selling the full source on Gumroad ($40) for developers who want to white-label a credible legal mobile app without months of UI work:

About
Small firms need a matter list and deadlines on their phone — not another bloated Practice Management System. LawDesk is an offline Expo docket with a minimal legal UI, built so developers can ship fast and rebrand it.
