Leadership Think Tank
Leadership community + newsletter for continuous learners.
Sold LTT and joined the acquiring company. I'll continue to operate Leadership Think Tank group + newsletter, while I integrate in-house products and sponsors. I will also expand the online community division by continuing to work with professional online audiences to educate across the personal and professional development space.
Top 15 (soon to be top 10) Largest LinkedIn groups on the platform with 372,000+ members (~300 new members daily) is ran alongside a newsletter with 15,000+ subscribers. Profit is generated via sponsorships of both channels an average of $4K per month / $48K per year.
Leadership Think Tank was founded in 2007 as a LinkedIn group is based on a philosophy of continuous learning and helps connect leaders & learners to fuel personal and professional development.
Free, organic group growth (Linkedin algorithm) adds ~300 new members each day with NO marketing. This fuels the conversion to newsletter subscribers with content marketing utilizing communication tools and content marketing.
As an independent operator, I am moving onto new projects and do not have the resources, bandwith, or interest to drive this to the next level (paid membership, events, courses etc).

Used LinkedIn Sales Navigator to generate precise demographics. This has warranted an uptick in sponsorships and helps increase the flow of potential partners.

About
I saw the value in LinkedIn Groups but knew I wanted to own my own platform (email). Dedicating myself to consistently showing up for a community drives my inspiration and curiosity to continuously learn and connect.
