A few months ago, while building cold outreach sequences for another project, I noticed a stark pricing gap in the email verification market.
Established platforms like NeverBounce, ZeroBounce, and Emailable charge around $0.008 per email check ($15 to $20 for just 2,000 credits). If you clean a list of 25,000 emails, you are looking at $150 to $200 every single month.
When you look at the underlying server costs of pinging a mail server, that markup felt unnecessarily high for solo founders, agencies, and lean sales teams. Matching top-tier accuracy with live 30-step checks
To match the deliverability accuracy of legacy tools like ZeroBounce, you cannot rely on old static databases or cached lookups because email data rots by 25% a year. Our engine runs a live 30-step verification probe on every address. This includes real-time SMTP socket handshakes with recipient mail servers, MX record health checks, greylisting retry queues, and catch-all domain risk evaluation.
Automated disposable domain pipeline
Instead of paying third-party list providers or database vendors, we engineered an automated pipeline that scrapes and updates temporary mail domains from nearly 500 sources on a rolling basis. Our system currently indexes over 150,000 disposable domains in real-time.
Custom Go engine on 4 edge nodes
We avoided heavy SaaS frameworks and third-party middleman APIs by writing our verification worker engine in Go. Deployed across 4 dedicated edge servers, this high-concurrency setup handles thousands of live SMTP socket connections simultaneously at a fraction of standard cloud infrastructure costs.

The interesting tension here is that verification is fundamentally a trust product.
If you're claiming comparable accuracy at 80% lower cost, the lower price can be both the reason someone tries LeadPure and the reason they question whether the accuracy is actually comparable.
That feels like the harder part of the proposition than the infrastructure cost itself.
