Multi-entity bookkeeping, one flat price

August 14, 2026 Why I'm charging one flat price for multi-entity bookkeeping

I run several small companies (from Zimbabwe, which adds its own fun). The bookkeeping tools I tried all price per company file: QuickBooks wants a separate subscription for every LLC, and by entity four you are paying more for software than for your accountant.

So I built LedgerFarm: double-entry bookkeeping where every entity lives in one login for one flat $99/mo.

The three things multi-entity owners actually need, which per-file tools do badly:

1. One review queue across all entities. Import a bank CSV per entity, categorize in one place, approve in batches.

2. Intercompany that writes both sides. Book "Alpha lends Beta $500" once; it creates the due-from in Alpha and due-to in Beta, and the dashboard shows who owes whom across the group.

3. A consolidated trial balance with explicit elimination columns that a CPA will accept without re-doing the work in Excel.

Trial is 14 days, no card. I am looking for founding users with 2+ entities: $49/mo for the first 3 months.

Honest current state: solo founder, product is live and tested hard (250+ automated tests, e2e probes on every flow), zero paying customers yet. This is day one of distribution.

If you run multiple LLCs or client books, I would genuinely value criticism of the onboarding: https://ledgerfarm.tapiwa.me

Update 2: two free things came out of building this, no email gate — a spreadsheet template with per-entity ledgers, an intercompany who-owes-whom check and a consolidated trial balance with eliminations (https://ledgerfarm.tapiwa.me/templates/multi-entity-bookkeeping-spreadsheet), and a cost calculator where you enter your own per-file price and it honestly tells you when per-file software is cheaper than flat (https://ledgerfarm.tapiwa.me/tools/multi-company-cost-calculator). Feedback on either is as valuable to me as a signup.

The fact that you’re looking for one real workflow before building further makes this especially interesting. Curious what the first team’s existing process looks like around this today.

Update, same day: shipped a public read-only demo so you can see the eliminations column on a live 3-LLC example without signing up. It is the Live demo link on the site (the same domain as in the post, path /demo). Every number on it is enforced by the same test suite that guards the product.

About

I run multiple small companies myself and got tired of paying per company file for bookkeeping software. QuickBooks wants a separate subscription for every LLC, and none of the cheap tools handle intercompany balances or
