December 1, 2021 10 new data connections added, with 50 more to go

We were manually adding API connectors to connect with each new data sources. Our ah ha moment came when we built a python library which allows us to connect to each new source with minimal effort. Really sped up the time it takes to build connectors and we plan to roll out the remainder 50 in a week

November 22, 2021 New channels to query data

We add slack and WhatsApp, in addition to our web app. Pretty happy about the WhatsApp integration. It the primary mode of communication in Asia. Now users can go to meetings and message the WhatsApp bot, and get their data instantly. Our alpha users loved this feature.

November 10, 2021 Updated our website

We pivoted on our idea. We realized that using NLP for qualitative data is hard. So we're focusing on quantitative data to start with.
We've built an app for users to share their database (Google Sheets and Supabase to start with) and ask queries in plain English. No more need for SQL

Have you seen Google Sheets "explore" feature? It's pretty similar to what you're doing and it's baked right into Sheets. That might not be the best source to focus on for this.

Hey there. Completely agree that google sheets has this functionality. We’re allowing users to query their sheets from slack/WhatsApp/etc, which I think is a differentiator. But yes, I think other DBs or sources should be a prior

June 1, 2021 Launched Leesa!

I've always been annoyed by how data is discovered. Current search just returns indexed items, instead of getting me an answer! I decided to build Leesa, a way to get answers from a knowledge base, using NLP to understand what the user is asking.

Built the MVP in 2 weeks and opened it up the the world! Excited to start this journey!

There is a typo in your indie hacker page. The seatch engine instead of search engine.

All good otherwise, what is your tech stack?

Thanks for pointing out the typo, Rishi!

We’re using python and supabase + material UI
